A Custom Original on Canvas is an original oil painting that is made to order. Made to order pieces are custom painted by Laura and have a lead time of 5-6 weeks. Select any of the paintings in Laura’s portfolio, and select your preferred size from the dropdown menu. Laura will create an original painting for you based on your selected painting, in your preferred size. Contact us if you have a size request that falls outside of the listed sizes.

Your custom oil painting will be painted with your selected image as inspiration, very closely resembling it in color and design. It is not an exact replica or reproduction. A new custom painting will be created for you.

Custom canvas orders can only be placed for Laura’s water series, not her recent West Elm x Laura Browning collection.

This Custom Original on Canvas was created to fulfill requests from clients who found a painting they fell in love with but it was not the right size or it had already sold. Laura has created dozens of paintings in this manner since.

Original oil paintings are created on gallery wrapped canvas using many thin layers of oil paint, giving the piece great depth and luminosity.

The sides of the canvas will be painted as an extension of the painting. The painting will be varnished with a UV protective coating prior to shipping. This painting will arrive ready to hang.

Framing is available for this piece. Add a frame.

Shipping original works to addresses in the United States is included in the purchase price. Each painting is carefully packed and shipped from Laura’s studio in the Bay Area. You can expect the pieces in this collection to ship within 5-6 weeks of the purchase date.
