when will my purchase ship?
All orders will be shipped within 5-7 business days via UPS ground. If you have concerns about the delivery timing please reach out.
How is my original painting shipped?
Original paintings are carefully packaged and shipped directly from Laura’s studio in the San Francisco Bay Area. Each painting is wrapped in glassine paper (a smooth archival paper that is water and grease resistant) to protect the delicate nature of the original. The painting is then wrapped in protective padding before being packaged in it’s custom fitted shipping box. We ship all originals insured via UPS.
All originals 48 x 48” and under will be shipped in a custom fitted box. All originals larger than 48 x 48” will be removed from the stretcher bars and shipped rolled safely in a sturdy custom fitted box. We will work with you and a local framer to have the work stretched on support bars. The framer’s cost is the client’s responsibility. If you prefer to ship your large painting fully stretched we will work with a freight service to expertly handle the painting, and will incur an additional shipping fee.
how is my canvas print shipped?
Canvas prints and posters are shipped directly from our print partners. They carefully pack the work in a custom sized box or tube depending on the size of the work.
Can you ship my original painting outside of the us?
Absolutely! Laura’s work is collected around the globe. Original paintings ship worldwide for an additional fee. If you would like a quote for shipping please contact us and provide your shipping address. We will always do our best to package the works in a way that reduces the cost of shipping. For larger works, we suggest having the canvas removed from the stretcher bars and shipped rolled in a tube, to be stretched at it’s final destination.
Can you ship my print outside of the us?
Yep! Any product in the Worldwide Print Shop and Gift Shop include the cost of shipping. Products in the Canvas Print section can be shipped outside of the US, but will incur an additional fee. If you are curious about the cost please reach out for a shipping quote .
what happens if my painting arrives damaged?
This has not happened yet, so hopefully yours will not be the first! All originals are carefully packaged and protected for shipment. All originals are shipped insured for their full value. If your painting arrives damaged please contact us as soon as possible with photos of the box and damage so we can work with UPS to resolve it.
what happens if my print arrives damaged?
All prints are packed carefully by our print partners. If you have a concern about a potential defect or a damaged shipment please reach out with photos so we can work to resolve it as quickly as possible.
what is your return policy for original paintings?
We want you to be completely thrilled with your purchase. We work diligently to photograph and display the original paintings to represent the artwork as accurately as possible. We understand that sometimes you just need to see it in your space before you truely know the painting is right for you. If you have questions before purchasing an original please reach out so we can create mock ups showing Laura’s painting in your space. This can help you decide on the right size or color palette beforehand. If you would like more photos or a video of a particular painting(s) please reach out. We are happy to help you find the right piece.
If you receive your original and you are not happy with how it works in your space please contact us as soon as possible. We have never had a painting returned, so we hope you are not the first! We do accept returns on original work up to 30 days from the delivery date. You are responsible for the cost of insured return shipping. The original must arrive in it’s original condition, no damage or alterations to the work. The original cost shipping to you (which is rolled into the purchase price) will be deducted from your refund.
what is your return policy for custom canvases or commissions?
Purchases made towards custom canvases and commissions are non-refundable.
what is your return policy for prints and gifts?
We do not accept returns for canvas prints, worldwide prints or gift items. Each product is printed to order, so please be careful with your selections. Make sure to reach out if you have any questions prior to your purchase.
